When we talk about computer hardware, we mean the actual components of your computer. Such things as the computer’s motherboard, its CPU, the video card, the keyboard and mouse, these are all “hardware”. We can say hardware is the mechanical parts that make up the computer system.
In other words, Hardware is any parts of the computer that you can touch and feel. Hardware consists of interconnected electronic devices that you can use to control the computer’s operation, Input and output.
Hardware includes not only the computer but also the cables, connectors, power supply units and peripheral devices such as the Keyboard, Mouse, Trackball, Touch Screen, Printer, Plotter, Speaker, and Projector etc.
